RockForce RF650 is a high-performance blend of high-molecular-weight biopolymers formulated to increase viscosity in water-based drilling systems. It also acts as an effective borehole stabiliser, helping to reduce the swelling and sloughing of reactive shale and clay formations.
Even at low concentrations, RF650 develops high viscosity and provides excellent suspension of weighting materials and drill cuttings in water-based mud systems. Its highly shear-thinning and thixotropic properties promote efficient circulation during drilling while maintaining strong suspension characteristics when circulation slows or stops.
