RockForce Caustic Soda (Sodium Hydroxide) is a highly alkaline chemical used in drilling operations for pH control, equipment cleaning and selected well-completion applications.
In drilling-fluid systems, Caustic Soda is used to increase and regulate pH, helping maintain the required chemical environment for effective fluid performance. It can also assist with cleaning drilling equipment and pipework by breaking down certain deposits and contaminants that accumulate during operations.
In appropriate well-completion applications, Caustic Soda may also be used as part of chemical treatment programmes to support wellbore cleaning and preparation.
