Description
RockForce Drillsafe is a biodegradable, non-ionic natural polymer formulated for a wide range of drilling applications. It is particularly effective as a viscosifier in applications where clay-based drilling fluids are restricted or undesirable.
When mixed with fresh or salt water, Drillsafe produces a clay-free drilling fluid with effective viscosity and suspension properties. At lower concentrations, it can also function as a flocculant, helping separate and settle clay particles from the drilling fluid.
Drillsafe can also be cross-linked to form a stable gel structure, making it particularly useful during casing installation and when drilling through troublesome or unstable formations.
